• Try to wear loose and comfortable clothing during your treatments (I also have shirts and pants if you need).
  
• Make sure you have eaten before receiving acupuncture (at least something that day).
  
• When you arrive for your first treatment, I will have you fill out paperwork if you have not already done so.
  
• The first portion of the treatment is a long discussion of what you'd like treatment for, as well as other conditions and the overall state of your health and wellbeing.
  
• After this discussion I will do some physical assessments, like feeling your pulse.
  
• Needles can be left in for anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes.
  
• After your treatment we will talk about the treatment plan for the future, as well as dietary and lifestyle advice.
  
• First office visits usually last about an hour and a half. After that visits can range from 45 minutes to an hour.
